QA Analyst/Engineer
Summary
The Centive Engineering Team is seeking a QA Analyst/Engineer to join a strong Engineering team building a comprehensive, on demand sales performance solution. This is a junior to medium level position that encompasses black box testing, writing test cases and logging software defects into the defect tracking system.
Primary Duties and Responsibilitie
- Design and write test case documents.
- Execute manual test cases
- Identify, report and track defects in defect tracking database
- Review functional specifications and technical design documents.
- Execute automated test scripts using QTP.
- Suggest, implement, and evaluate approaches to testing.
- Manage time and resources and be flexible while working in a rapid software development environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years Experience in Software Quality Assurance with exposure to the full product development cycle – from requirements through post-release.
- Team player attitude and the ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience a plus.
- Experience in testing Web Applications.
- Good understanding of Application Servers, WebLogic server exposure a plus.
- Experience with preferably QTP and/or other automation tools a plus.
- Knowledge of Databases, SQL commands a plus.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be a goal driven self-starter.
